Rajesh Kumar, a sergeant with the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office, was arrested and charged with domestic assault in Leesburg on Wednesday. (Liam Griffin/Patch) LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — An off-duty Loudoun County deputy was arrested on Wednesday after he was accused of assaulting a family member, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said. Investigators identified the deputy as Sergeant Rajesh Kumar of Leesburg. Kumar is charged with assault and battery of a family member and damaging a phone line to obstruct a message.
