A Maryland man was charged with felony hit and run after police said he hit a jogger in Leesburg, apologized, and drove away. (Liam Griffin/Patch) LEESBURG, VA — A van hit a jogger in Leesburg on Thursday morning, the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office said. The driver apologized before he left the scene, according to authorities. Authorities said the jogger received treatment at an area hospital. She has been released from the hospital. Investigators identified the driver as 21-year-old Jaden Hughes from Baltimore, Maryland.
