Russet Perry has won the Democratic nomination in Virginia's 31st Senate District and will face off against Republican Juan Pablo Segura in the November general election. According to unofficial results from the Virginia Department of Elections Tuesday evening, Perry received 350 votes (75%) to Zach Cumming's 114 votes with seven out of eight Fauquier County precincts reporting. 'I am honored to be your candidate for State Senate,' said Perry in a release. 'I am so grateful to the volunteers, supporters, voters, and my family who made this victory possible.
